Isn’t that what they say? I don’t know who “they” are and I don’t always listen to them, but for today at least, I”m going with the familiar adage. Due to icy road conditions, traveling is perilous in these parts, but I’m refusing to cancel the show! ATS LIVE will be airing from my house on the banks of Lake Providence, LA!
Two big reasons I decided not to cancel. First, y’all know I miss everyone when we’re not together. And two, I’m way too excited about interviewing today’s guest. He’s a busy man and I don’t know when we would get our dates to line up again. Meet Wally Armstrong!
Wally is a former touring golf professional who has competed in over 300 PGA Tour events, including the British Open, the US Open, and the Masters. He’s also a speaker, skills instructor, and best-selling author of books about golf and the Christian life, including (with Jim Sheard) “In His Grip”, “Playing the Game”, “Finishing the Course”, and an instructional book with golfer Tom Lehman called “Live Hands”.
Today, Wally will be with us to talk about his latest book, Practicing the Presence of Jesus! Experience the Gift of His Friendship. It’s a short book that will make an incredible, life-changing impact on your life.
So, what will it mean for y’all to have the show aired from my great room? Absolutely nothing– I hope! We’ve done a sound test and I think we’re good to go! Okay, I may sound a wee more “hollow” than normal, (and no, I’m not talking about my head), but all things considered, we should be fine.
The details schemtails remain the same. ATS LIVE airs from 5:00 to 6:00 PM Central time on TALK 540 KMLB. If you’re not local, you can still join us in realtime! Follow the links at the website to enjoy a live stream of the show from your smart phone or computer.
Remember, our show chat is held on the All Things Southern Facebook wall. Leave your “pretty please” on my wall to enter the drawing. And then– follow the show and check back to see if you won. All Things Southern is not responsible for looking up the winners.
See you on the air!
P.S. If I have time, I’ll post pics of the Redneck Radio Studio on the Facebook wall. I think it will make you smile…
